How does your juice differ to cheaper alternatives on shop shelves?

We hand make our products in small batches within a commercial kitchen. Our juices are 100% raw and cold pressed. Supermarket juices may advertise that they are cold pressed and have no additives, however, to achieve a shelf life they have to add preservatives, go through pasteurisation or use a process called HPP (high pressure pasteurisation). Raw cold pressed juice has a shelf life of 3 days, so anything you can buy ‘fresh’ off a supermarket shelf has undergone some form of process or contains added preservatives. To give our juice a ‘shelf life’ we simply freeze the raw juice, deliver it to you still frozen and you store in your freezer until you are ready to enjoy. Once defrosted, keep chilled and consume as soon as possible to benefit from the live goodness (store within a fridge and drink within a maximum of 2 days once fully defrosted.)

What’s the difference between a juice and a smoothie?

Juice is the liquid part of the fruits and vegetables made using a juice extractor, in our case a cold pressed juicer. When you make juice, you remove all the liquid from the fibre. The liquid is where the nutrients are. Smoothies are blended whole fruit and vegetables. Neither a juice or a smoothie is better than the other, they simply serve different purposes. A juice gives you instant energy where as a smoothie will take longer to digest.

I have placed an order. When will delivery be?

Due to our products being hand made, please allow unto 14 days delivery time. We will always endeavour to send out as quickly as possibly, but we never want to compromise on the quality of our products. You will receive a dispatch email when your juices leave our premises. For mainland delivery, your juices will be sent on a 24 hour consignment with Parcel force and you will receive tracking from them. For Isle of Wight deliveries, your juices will arrive on the day of dispatch. Please check you safe place as all deliveries will be left if you are not home.

Can I choose a different flavour combination?

Absolutely! With our shot and tonic bundles there is a drop down option to change from a rainbow bundle to a bundle of all one flavour. But if you would like to mix it up completely then just send us a message through the website and we will help you to place a tailor made order.

Will my juice arrive frozen?

Yes! If you live on the Isle of Wight, please select the IOW Residents Delivery Option and your juices will be delivered in specially insulated envelopes within a box with ice packs to keep your products frozen. If you live elsewhere within the UK then we can still deliver to you! Please select the ParcelForce option and it will be delivered within 24 hours of leaving our kitchen arriving in special denim insulated packaging as an eco friendly alternative to polystyrene. If your juices have partially defrosted then it is absolutely fine to put back in to your freezer as long as there are some frozen particles still in the product.

I live on the IOW, can I collect?

As we don’t have a shop front at the moment, unfortunately we do not have a place where you are able to collect. Our working hours tend to be within school hours ( we do often pull a 12 hour shift but it is subject to change) so very often we are not around when customers are able to collect. As we grow and develop as a business we really hope to be able to offer a collection service as well as a return option of our insulated packaging. Please watch this space. We are committed to offering as much as we can and are constantly looking to evolve.

I am currently undergoing treatment. Can I use juice as a complimentary therapy?

We have helped a number of customers undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy who may have lost their appetite and are struggling to consume an array of live fruit and veg in their diets. We are not medically trained and do not suggest replacing traditional medicine with holistic alternatives, but we do believe that good nutrition has a place in healing and in that, raw cold pressed juice can be used as a complimentary therapy during such times that your immune system may be suppressed. We would advice anyone taking medicine not to consume our Charcoal Lemonade as the Activated Charcoal may interfere with your medication. If you are looking to help supplement your diet during treatment, then please contact us for further advise.

Do you sell wholesale juice or supply retreats/events?

We do! We regularly work with a number of wellbeing brands for their yoga/selfcare retreats along with corporate businesses on many different levels. If you have an event coming up which you feel our juices would compliment, then please contact us through an online contact form. We also pop up at events on the Isle of Wight where you can find us serving our juices both fresh and frozen. If you see us, come and say Hi as we love to meet you all.
